Brooklyn Nets power forward Kevin Durant tweeted how impressed he was by Ohio State vs. Purdue Thursday.
That’s a tough win on the road by Purdue…Kevin Durant never faced Ohio State in his one college seasonIn one season at Texas in 2006-07, Durant averaged 25.8 points and 11.1 rebounds per game, shooting 47.3% from the field and 40.4% from 3-point range. With it, he earned unanimous national player of the year honors, winning the John R. Wooden Award and the Naismith College Player of the Year award before later having his No. 35 retired by the university.
Durant only played one game against a Big Ten opponent, scoring 21 points in a 63-61 loss to Michigan State in the 2K Sports Coaches vs Cancer Classic.
