Ohio State athletics finished first in the Big Ten and third nationally in the Directors' Cup standings in 2022-23.
The Buckeyes' 12 scoring women's teams included ice hockey , volleyball , basketball , swimming and diving , gymnastics , tennis , rowing , cross country , soccer , golf and indoor and outdoor track and field.
The 10 scoring men's teams were tennis , football , wrestling , volleyball , gymnastics , swimming and diving , golf , soccer and outdoor and indoor track and field. The co-ed fencing team also finished fifth. Ohio State has never won the Directors' Cup but has finished second to Stanford three times in 2010-11, 2015-16 and 2016-17. The Directors' Cup officially started in 1993-94.
