Ohio lost jobs and saw a steady unemployment rate in August

Ohio’s unemployment rate was 4.5% in August and July, down from 4.4% in June. The state unemployment rate has steadily increased since it was 3.7% in both January and February. The U.S. unemployment rate for August was 4.2%, down from 4.3% in July.
