Bill and Sharon Saxton lost their daughter Lesley and her unborn son in a car crash in 2007. They've visited her gravesite several times a week since then. In 2022, they arrived to find a headstone of an adjacent family was placed next to Lesley's stone.
That changed in 2022 when they saw a new headstone next to Leslie's burial space belonging to an adjacent family. Chute previously told Problem Solvers on a recorded phone call that records don't exist for the cemetery as required by law. Chute also failed to show up and testify before the administrative board in September which violated her subpoena. Despite that, commissioners decided to close the Saxton case, which is still unresolved and indicated there was nothing else they could do.
