Rain fell on Cleveland Wednesday. It fell again Thursday. It’s supposed to keep falling deep into next week. So how come we’re still in a serious drought? We are a long way now from the foreclosure crisis that rocked Cleveland in 2007 and 2008. Has the market completely recovered from what that crisis did to neighborhoods?
How did Mike DeWine, who last week challenged Donald Trump and JD Vance for lying about Springfield, move to help the people there on Thursday?So he announced a new mobile health clinic for Springfield. This is part of the state’s efforts to alleviate the strains in the local health care system and improve access for all residents. And Mike DeWine made a point of saying that this is not just for Haitian immigrants. This is for people who have lived in Clark County their entire lives.
My kids treat their school resource officer like he is a celebrity. So this was just great to hear that they’re interacting with the community and that things are getting better. They said the bomb threats are, are leveling off, at least in the school. That’s why they’re there. And they’re saying that it’s getting back to normal.
