A 27-year-old man from Ocean Springs, Mississippi, was arrested and charged with aggravated assault and possession of a controlled substance with intent to distribute after allegedly shooting another man in the hand during an argument. Two women were also arrested for hindering prosecution.
On Thursday morning, deputies with the Jackson County Sheriff’s Department arrested 27-year-old Isaiah Ginuwine Presley, of Ocean Springs, and charged him with aggravated assault and possession of a controlled substance with intent to distribute. Deputies say Presley got into an argument with another man on Wednesday morning and shot him in the hand. The incident happened at a home on Octavia Street in the Fountainbleau community near St. Andrews, just east of Ocean Springs.
Officials quickly identified Presley as a suspect, and were able to track him down to an Ocean Springs hotel after receiving an anonymous tip.Deputies also arrested 28-year-old Beverly Bartholomew and 36-year-old Cynthia Jarmon, both of Ocean Springs, and charged them with hindering prosecution.
