A nursing home worker was arrested after allegedly assaulting a patient on Sunday.
Wednesday is a CBS 21 Weather Watch Day for heavy rain after sunset, and Thursday is a Weather Watch Day for gusty winds.Joseph Ikoghode, 47, of Elliot City, Maryland, is charged with neglect of a care dependent person and simple assault following the incident.
Staff told officers that Ikoghode had been trying to move a patient from a chair onto a bed with the help of two other workers. The patient, who was known by staff to be aggressive, reportedly struck Ikoghode in the face as staff were trying to move him.
