Northeast Ohio's forecast for Wednesday calls for rain and the potential for strong storms
CLEVELAND, Ohio - Get ready for some tropical weather as the remnants of what was once Beryl move into the area tomorrow. The National Weather Service’s forecast is calling for winds of 9-16 mph with gusts as high as 32 mph on Wednesday.
Showers and thunderstorms are possible throughout the day with a half-inch or more of rain in some areas. Rain chances will continue throughout the evening before tapering off overnight with lows dropping to the mid 60s., as the remnants of Beryl will move through the region Wednesday. Locally heavy rainfall is possible late Tuesday night and early Wednesday morning, as well as the potential for a couple of brief tornadoes.Thursday night will see skies clear with lows around 63 degrees.
