CLEVELAND, Ohio - As the remnant low pressure system associated with former Hurricane Beryl finally moves well away from the region, a nice day is in store.
This breeze will also keep the water choppy on Lake Erie today, so there is a high risk for rip currents, and a Small Craft Advisory remains in effect for the lakeshore along Cuyahoga, Lake, and Ashtabula counties due to waves between 2 and 5 feet. On Friday, expect a mostly sunny sky with high temperatures in the mid 80s. Humidity remains at a tolerable level. A weak disturbance approaching from the west may spark an isolated shower or two across Erie and Huron counties.
