The traditional British bar and restaurant on the High Street receives top ratings across the board for food, service, value and atmosphere.
Playhouse Northampton, Northampton The next highest rated pub in the county on TripAdvisor is a more unusual establishment in the biggest town. Playhouse Northampton offers a wide range of different food including pizzas and street food. If you are ever planning to go for a meal or drink in Northampton and want to combine it with a bit of fun, then the Playhouse is certainly a place to check out.
One very positive review stated that the Peacock is “a great town centre pub with lovely staff and great food.” A fellow customer who also left feeling well-fed feels that “the pub is just great from the great layout inside the pub to the garden itself”. They also do a large selection of burgers and cater very well for vegetarians and vegans.One customer’s review summed up their enjoyable experience up very briefly - “Great night. Fab food.”
