Elliott Wyche wrote and illustrated a story that was turned into a musical production
HURST, Texas — The auditorium was full, but a concert put on last week by the L.D. Bell high school fine arts department inThe students were playing for eight-year-old Elliott Wyche and his family, who watched the concert from the audience. Wyche may not have been on stage, but he was an essential part of the production.
Wyche was born with half a heart. He’s had three open heart surgeries. Rarely do people with the same rare birth defect make it to adulthood. Yet, Wyche has never used it as an excuse. Well, almost never.
