North Carolina basketball player Elliot Cadeau is being recognized for his community service with the 2025 Global Impact Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Award.
North Carolina guard Elliot Cadeau is being honored with the 2025 Global Impact Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Award for his charity work in both New Jersey and North Carolina . Cadeau, who averages 10.4 points, 5.8 assists and 3.0 rebounds for the Tar Heels, will receive the award on January 15th at Liberty Middle School in West Orange, New Jersey.
Cadeau's charitable efforts include free basketball camps for underprivileged kids, donating school supplies and backpacks, supporting his elementary school's basketball teams, helping Swedish players get exposure in the U.S., and a plan to restore basketball courts in underprivileged areas of Sweden, Haiti and New Jersey.
