NSTcbt: UMW Toyota says that it tries to maintain price stability by absorbing any known increases as much as possible. Toyota
The CKD models in UMWT’s current line-up are the Toyota Yaris, Toyota Vios, Toyota Rush, Toyota Hilux, Toyota Fortuner, Toyota Innova and Toyota Hiace.
President Ravindran K said that although factors such as exchange rates and tax revisions can affect prices, the company tries to maintain price stability by absorbing the increases. Additionally, UMWT states that the finance ministry has also given its assurance that the increase would be fully absorbed or exempted by the ministry if any CKD model was affected as a result of the open market value’s transparent methodology of reporting.
