When asked about his plans or new movement for the PNP, Acorda said everything would be based on “policy, guidelines, merit, ability, and moral ascendancy.
”“Everything will be done based on the policy, guidelines, merit, ability, capability, and moral ascendancy. These are the basic qualifications that SOPB will set. The SOPB will be empowered to ensure no policies are violated and candidates scrutinized,” Acorda said during his first press conference in Camp Crame, Quezon City.
