One element of the finale has fans split

Laura is Agent 19, the Mockingbird who ends up married to Clint Barton in the comics.

Bobbi is Bobbi Morse, who looks exactly like comic Mockingbird and shares her name, but is never referred to as Agent 19.And keep in mind neither Bobbi nor Laura was ever referred to as Mockingbird outright, but it’s easy to imagine that it could be a moniker passed down similar to say, the finale idea that Clint has bestowed the Hawkeye moniker to Kate Bishop. As in, Laura could have been the first Mockingbird before she settled down, meeting Clint and having three kids, retiring from SHIELD.

Agents of SHIELD was directly tied to the MCU for its first season or two, but eventually its storylines stopped intersecting and it was given license to do its own thing with storylines like time travel or the Inhuman awakening. I feel like if we are debating whether the show is canon, there are many more issues to sort through other than this latest Bobbi/Laura Mockingbird thing.
