Hawkeye ends its first season today with its sixth episode
Finally, the “shocking” moment that I hope is not actually as shocking as it appeared to be, was the apparent execution of Kingpin at the hands of Maya/Echo as revenge for her father. If that really is the death of Wilson Fisk, I am not terribly amused to see him live through three seasons of Daredevil, get shot in the chest with an arrow and hit by a car, only to be killed by someone we just met a few episodes ago.
Technically, Kingpin gets shot off screen, but I can’t tell if that’s them hiding what really happened, or Disney doesn’t want to show someone getting shot point blank in the face on a PG-13 production.
