No community spread of Covid-19 in Malaysia yet

A senior Malaysian health official says there is no community spread of the Covid-19 virus yet and tests for dozens of potential cases have all came back negative. – EPA pic, February 28, 2020.

THERE is no community spread of the Covid-19 virus detected in Malaysia as at today, according to Health Ministry director-general Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah. He said a total of 77 severe acute respiratory infection and 70 influenza-like illness samples were screened and all tested negative for the Wuhan virus, indicating the absence of community spread.
