Niles police released this photo after they said in a news release that they discovered a cannabis growing operation in a residential garage on April 23. They charged a 33-year-old man with felonies for growing 20 to 50 cannabis plants. Niles police arrested a man and charged him with felonies under Illinois law for growing 40 pounds of cannabis and possessing 20 to 50 cannabis plants, which they found in his garage, and other offenses, according to the police department.
