Nick Saban, seven-time national champion coach at Alabama, will be inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame in 2025. This honor recognizes his extraordinary achievements in college football, including multiple national championships, conference titles, and the development of top NFL draft picks.
Former Alabama Crimson Tide head coach Nick Saban is receiving one of the highest honors, as the National Football Foundation announced Friday that the seven-time national champion will be inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame as part of the Class of 2025.
Saban, who learned of his induction during ESPN’s College GameDay broadcast on Friday evening ahead of the College Football Playoff semifinal matchup between Texas and Ohio State in the Cotton Bowl, went 206-29 in his 17 seasons in Tuscaloosa, and a combined 297-71-1 all-time as a head coach including time with Toledo, Michigan State and LSU.Alongside the accolades of being a seven-time national champion, with six of those coming with Alabama (2009, 2011, 2012, 2015, 2017, 2020) and one with LSU (2003), Saban is also a 12-time conference champion (1990 MAC Champion with Toledo; 2001 and 2003 SEC Champion with LSU; 2009, 2012, 2014–2016, 2018, 2020, 2021, and 2023 SEC Champion with Alabama), a five-time SEC Coach of the Year and a multi-time national coach of the year from different outlets and organizations.
