Following a turbulent 10 month period which has seen NHS Forth Valley placed under Scottish Government measures, the firm focus is now on recovery with some targets back on track.

Compliance with the four-hour target of unscheduled care overall in August was 59.9 per cent, Minor Injuries Unit was 99.8 per cent and Emergency Department was 52.1 per cent. The number of patients on the waiting list for a first outpatient appointment reduced to 19,302 from 19,902 in July however the number waiting beyond 12 weeks increased.

This is an improvement in performance from the June position of 71.6 per cent. The 31-day target was achieved – 95.3 per cent.
