Updated: Jul. 30, 2024, 11:00 a.m.On July 12, police were dispatched to a Royalton Road gas station regarding a car crash between a Strongsville resident and a Brunswick woman.The latter rear-ended the former; however, both parties admitted to not paying attention.On July 5, police were dispatched to Fallingwater Health Care regarding a menacing call.The man -- who has mental issues -- didn’t make physical contact after accusing the woman of spraying roach spray.

He attempted to remove his oxygen tank and throw it at her. However, due to his health, he wasn’t successful. The woman wanted the incident reported. She also felt her employer isn’t doing enough to protect her.On July 5, police were dispatched to a Drake Road business regarding a dog panting and whimpering from inside a Mazda with its windows cracked in the parking lot.Eventually, the owner came out.

The Mazda was running with its air conditioning on. The officer said the vehicle felt cool inside, but the driver was still advised of the complaint.On July 5, police were dispatched to a Litto Drive residence regarding a property damage complaint. An arriving officer talked to the caller, who said that the night before, a neighbor set off fireworks, which damaged his Chevrolet.The officer also noticed that not only did a nearby Ford and Jeep have debris on their roofs, but there was also detritus on neighborhood house roofs.They told the officer that their nephew lit the fireworks.
