‘What we have here at Newark Vocational is probably the best and most realistic experience our kids can ever be exposed to. So that makes me feel like they’re ready to take on anything once they graduate,’ said teacher John Calache.On the show, students demonstrate their skills, creating dishes like chimichurri sauce and loaded baked potatoes. The show provides a platform for these young chefs to hone their craft and showcase their talents.Newark Chopped is now streaming on Newark Public Schools’ platform, giving viewers an inspiring glimpse into the lives of these talented young chefs.
