The development would link up with other sporting stadiums and potentially a new priority zone for development surrounding the Royal Botanic Gardens.Victoria Minister for Precincts Colin Brooks says the precinct is a “priority”, but the government is a long way away from having more to say about it. First proposed for development up to five years ago, the zone would not only create new public space but also solve a major issue with crowds entering and exiting a key train station.
