A new facility at the University of Bedfordshire, called Brewster Square SIM Street, utilizes simulations and mannequins to train future health and care professionals. The facility aims to provide students with real-life scenarios, helping them build confidence and competence in a supportive learning environment. Named after Annie Brewster, one of Britain's first Afro-Caribbean nurses, SIM Street is hoped to address the shortage of nurses in England.

"Simulation activity is designed to bridge the gap between theory and practice, providing students with an immersive, hands-on learning environment," said Dr Tresidder.
