The City of Philadelphia announced the launch of its Weeknight Live program, which brings local performers to businesses across the city.

A new year-round program aims to bring live music from local artists to several hospitality businesses across Philadelphia . On Monday, March 30, 2026, the City of Philadelphia announced its new Weeknights Live program, which aims to"energize" early-week evenings with live performances.

According to the City, Weeknights Live will expand its pilot program at participating hotels on Tuesdays to now include Mondays and Wednesdays at other locations. “From Center City to our neighborhood commercial corridors, we are building a more connected Philadelphia through the Weeknights Live program,” Mayor Cherelle L. By showcasing live performances at participating businesses, we support artists’ livelihoods and strengthen neighborhood economic vitality. With this expanded program, we deliver creativity and opportunity, bringing people, organizations, and businesses together for shared success.” According to the Department of Commerce, during the 16-week pilot phase, 135 artists were paid to perform at participating hotels. “This program highlights the strengths of our artists and hospitality businesses throughout the city," said Karen Fegely, acting director for the Department of Commerce.
