KUALA LUMPUR: A new chairman for the National Film Development Corporation (Finas) might be announced within a week, said Communications and Digital Minister Fahmi Fadzil.
Fahmi said the appointment was important, given the present vacancy in the Compulsory Screening Committee in Finas.
“This is an important aspect, I will expedite this,” said Fahmi during a press conference in Parliament on Thursday . The association said Finas was unable to function, given the absence of a chairman and other board members.
