Trump didn't waste any time getting a plane together for his new vice presidential candidate.
Former President Donald Trump has debuted a new plane after announcing that Senator J.D. Vance will serve as his running mate for his 2024 campaign.Trump adviser Jason Miller shared a photo of the new aircraft on Monday evening, showing a plane with a 'Trump Vance' decal on the side. Earlier in the day, Trump announced that he had selected Vance as his vice presidential candidate at the first day of the Republican National Convention in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
The plane is different from Trump's 'Trump Force One' plane that he uses personally.Vance, a 39-year-old senator from Ohio, first rose to national fame with his 2016 memoir 'Hillbilly Elegy.' He was elected to the Senate in 2022 as a political newcomer who quickly built a reputation as a Trump loyalist.The announcement also came just days after the attempted assassination of Trump at a Pennsylvania rally on Saturday.
