announced that the brand will open its first restaurant outside the Midwest at the 24-acre Lower Heights District .
Flat Top Grill, specializing in Asian stir fry dishes, is owned by Dallas-based Mongolian concepts Restaurant Group which operates Genghis Grill and BD’s Mongolian Grill. Flat Top’s menu includes create-your-own bowls and signature entrees such as fried rice, spicy steak, Thai red curry, chili curry shrimp, and noodles. The menu also offers gyoza, skewers , lettuce wraps, ramen and poke, as well as beer, wine, and craft cocktails.
“We’re excited to continue expanding the mix of premium dining, retail and service offerings at Lower Heights District, which is ideally positioned to serve businesses and residents in and along the adjacent First Ward Arts District, Washington Corridor and The Heights, which is linked to the project via a hike and bike trail extension,” said Danny Miller, vice president of leasing for Gulf Coast Commercial Group, developer of Lower Heights District.
