Apple's flagship iPhone 15 looks set to miss its expected release date...
Revegnus“The yield issues with Sony, the supplier of image sensors for the iPhone 15 Pro Max, are severe. As a result, the release date of the iPhone 15 Pro Max could be delayed by up to approximately 4 weeks.”
Revegnus adds that while precise details remain thin on the ground, they have heard that Sony “is using a more advanced node in the process [for the sensor], which is causing yield issues.” This is not the first time we have had warning about supply chain issues with Sony’s image sensors.
