For years, Dothan City Schools has flip-flopped between a B and C grade for the district. Horn and the other educators in her program are working to raise those grades and help students find their full potential. “They have to teach on grade level, which limits the amount of time that they have to work with students one on one, to work with students in a small group setting,” said Horn. “The impact program will offer students that opportunity to get that intensive, differentiated instruction that they need to be successful.”
