Draymond Green will serve a one-game suspension and not play on Thursday.
Stephen Curry has been solid already this series, averaging 29 points over the first two games. But both he and the team have not been making 3-pointers at their usual clip, with Curry only making 9-of-27 and the team shooting 29-for-90 from deep.
There’s also been a high volume of fouls called this series, with a combined 99 fouls in the two games. And Thursday’s officials include the referee with the highest number of fouls called per game in the regular season, too. It will be imperative that the Warriors keep key forwards like Kevon Looney, JaMychal Green, Wiggins and Jonathan Kuminga out of foul trouble with Draymond out.
But perhaps the most important question: who will step up to replace Draymond’s defense, fire and leadership? We’ll find out if someone does to help the Warriors win — or if no one does and Golden State gets into a 3-0 hole. Follow along with our reporters Madeline Kenney, Jason Mastrodonato, Shayna Rubin and columnist Dieter Kurtenbach and other analysts providing their thoughts about the game.
