.Lakers' 2022-23 schedule: Key dates and opponents
The Clippers will open their NBA season against the Lakers on Oct. 20. The Lakers will open their season against Golden State on Oct. 18.The Lakers will visit Dallas on Christmas, joining other Christmas games, including Milwaukee at Boston, Philadelphia at New York, Phoenix at Denver and Memphis at Golden State.
The NBA said this season teams will travel an average of 41,000 miles, a record low and more than 2,000 miles per team less than last season’s leaguewide average. Across the league, teams will also play an average of 13.3 back-to-backs this season, down slightly from last season.The Clippers’ schedule includes 61 games by the mid-February all-star break and 15 back-to-back games throughout the season.
Thirty-nine of their games will be broadcast nationally and the Lakers will play 12 sets of back-to-back games.
