"We called out neighbor last night and they didn't even know anything was going on. We just happened to be up late last night. So, you alert your neighbors and look out for each other," said Jim. "It's scary when you don't have a basement, you got a typical ranch with a crawl space you have to do what they say on the news and get to the center of the house. Get four walls between you and do a little prayer," said Jim."This time nobody was hurt, but next time we may not be so lucky," said Jim.
"With today's technology, you know, with phone alerts and different avenues to alert people, it seems that's the direction most people are going rather than investing money," said Mayor Carman.
