The National Weather Service has confirmed three tornadoes touched down in Indiana yesterday. One in Johnson County, one in southwest Monroe County and one in Martin County.
INDIANAPOLIS — Teams from the National Weather Service deployed upon multiple locations in Johnson County and Martin County Monday morning to examine storm damage.
Sunday's storms left a trail of damage across Bargersville, Greenwood and Whiteland on Sunday for the second time in the last few months. After examining the areas, the National Weather Service determined a tornado touched down in Johnson County where severe damage was found. A second tornado touched down in southwest Monroe County and a third tornado hit south of Shoals in Martin County.
