Police Minister Bheki Cele has commended those who've indicated they won't be participating in the national shutdown on Monday.
Minister in the Presidency Khumbudzo Ntshavheni briefed the media on the outcomes of Wednesday's cabinet meeting. Cabinet outlined plans in place ahead of the shutdown on Monday. eNCA reporter Heidi Giokos has more details.

"We encourage our communities to report any form of criminality to and intimidation to their nearest police station.
