The 2022 senior class of the National Charity League Inc. Sugar Land Jewels Chapter and their mothers have worked alongside one another to serve various philanthropic organizations in the area.The hard work and service of eight high school seniors from the National Charity League Inc. Sugar Land Jewels Chapter will soon be recognized, per a news release.

On May 1, the young women will celebrate their hard work during a ceremony at Heaven on Earth in Missouri City. “Being a part of NCL has opened many philanthropic avenues for me to explore a profound passion for volunteerism, leading me to be inspired to create positive changes in my community,” said Mock, who volunteered more than 170 hours.

Each year, Sugar Land Jewels donate hundreds of hours to assist organizations such as the American Heart Association, the Fort Bend County Women’s Center-Pennywise, Keep Sugar Land Beautiful, the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, the Sugar Land Health Care Center, Neighborhood Kidz Club and The Kindness Campaign.
