Upcoming Two Blue Vortex Anime Will Make Naruto's Best Villains Look Tame The Boruto anime will focus on the Two Blue Vortex arc next, which will reintroduce Omnipotence, a Shinjutsu from the Otsusuki that can quite literally rewrite reality. In Naruto Shippuden, Itachi and Madara represent the peak of Genjutsu and Ninjutsu. However, their powers were still bound by chakra and stamina. They used Izanagi/Izanami to rewrite personal reality, which had its own limitations. In the Two Blue Vortex arc, Omnipotence is almost absolute in comparison and operates on a scale that transcends individual perception. It alters the fabric of reality itself and affects entire populations without any immediate costs or restrictions. It seems to change cognitive history to the point where even if a ninja knows the truth logically, their brain autocorrects the facts to fit the new reality.As the source material suggests, this power belongs to Shibai Otsutsuki, a being who discarded his physical body to become a god. All in all, it looks like Naruto will soon evolve to a scale where it will be comparable to shows like Wandavision. While it is too soon to tell how Naruto's next anime will turn out, its source material significantly increases the stakes with its power scale shifts and raises a lot of excitement for what lies ahead. Everything We Know About Boruto's Return Boruto next anime chapter does not have an official release date yet, but it is expected to come out by the end of 2026 or in the first quarter of 2027. Reports reveal that instead of giving it a consistent weekly release treatment, Studio Pierrot will move to a seasonal format. This promises the anime will have fewer fillers and even better animation quality. 4 special Naruto anniversary episodes, which have been delayed for quite some time, will likely come out by the end of 2026. These episodes, too, could serve as lead-ins to Boruto's next chapter. Roughly 35–40 chapters of the Two Blue Vortex arc will be available by late 2026. This should provide enough content for a 12-to-24-episode seasonal run for the anime.
