Investigators are “definitely closer” to identifying a suspect or suspects in Nancy Guthrie’s disappearance, the Pima County Sheriff told NBC News, as they review Ring camera footage obtained by Fox News Digital showing a mysterious vehicle.
Pima County Sheriff Chris Nanos said the black gloves found closest to Nancy Guthrie's home were traced back to a worker at a nearby restaurant. Nanos confirmed to Fox News Digital that the gloves in question were found approximately 2.
5 miles from Guthrie's home. He first shared the news with local Tucson outlet KVOA. 'There was some talk and discussion that it was police officers out in the field just discarding them, that is so far from the truth. We knew that at that time, we believed wholeheartedly that those gloves belonged to a restaurant and guess what? The owner of the glove, we found working at a restaurant across the street. It has nothing to do with the case,' Nanos told the outlet. In a post on X, the Pima County Sheriff's Department said DNA found on the gloves helped link them to the local restaurant employee. The department added that the individual is 'not part of the investigation.' The department said other DNA evidence is still being tested. Fox News Digital's Michael Ruiz contributed to this report.
