models should go the way of the dodo. The Mirage just got the axe in Japan and it’s not exactly well-loved here in the USA. On top of that, the somewhat sacrilegious Eclipse Cross might be the most inappropriate and disappointing use of a model name in the country. Still, it’s the one we’d axe over all the others. After all, the Outlander somehow seems like a decent deal.
Domestic automaker Chevrolet could probably do just fine without the Equinox, the Trax, or the Malibu. None of the three offer something seriously compelling that can’t be met with another Chevy in the lineup. We think that there’s probably one car that almost everyone will agree needs to die though.That car is the Fiat 500X. Don’t get us wrong. We love quirky little cars and especially ones that break from convention. At the same time, this is not the Fiat we nor most consumers seem to want.
