Gov. Phil Murphy said the long-awaited independent review is expected to take until late 2023.
That fee covers payments to only one of the two firms the state tapped last month to work on the investigation: Montgomery McCracken Walker & Rhoads, a Philadelphia-based law practice with an office in Cherry Hill
It’s unclear how much the state will pay Boston Consulting Group, the other firm, on top of that. Their contract with the state is not yet available.
