A Gloucester County man is accused of sexually assaulting at least two minors and possessing over 200 images and 40 videos of child sexual abuse material, prosecutors said. William I. McCray, 25, of Monroe Township, was charged with a total of 27 counts of sex crimes against minors. In October 2025, a minor reported being sexually assaulted by McCray to local police, officials said. Authorities recovered multiple cell phones during a search of McCray’s home that, after being forensically analyzed, revealed about 260 images and 40 videos containing child sexual abuse material, officials said. Authorities also found drugs and drug paraphernalia during the search of McCray’s home, officials said. A second victim was identified in the files recovered by investigators and told authorities during an interview that they had been assaulted by McCray, officials said. Five more victims were identified in the photos, videos and messages recovered during the investigation, officials said. McCray was arrested on Dec. 3, 2025, and charged with four counts of second-degree sexual assault of a minor, two counts of first-degree manufacturing child sexual abuse material, three counts of second-degree manufacturing child sexual abuse material and one count of second-degree distribution of child sexual abuse material, authorities said.
