SIBU: A Myanmar national was killed in a hit-and-run accident while on his way home from a grocery shop in Mukah near here.
Mukah district police chief DSP Jimmy Panyau said the victim Myo Min, 32, was found lying on the sidewalk in the 9.31pm incident on Wednesday .
"The victim was found unconscious by a security guard along the Mukah-Balingian road," he said on Thursday .The case is being investigated under Section 41 of the Road Transport Act 1987. He called on members of the public who had witnessed the accident to contact the nearest police station.
