The dating show dubbed 'Love Island for middle-agers' is back with a brand-new cast of single parents wanting to find love, and their children hoping to help behind the scenes
My Mum , Your Dad , the show helping single parents to find a second chance at love, is back for a second season. Davina McCall returns to host the series that follows a group of middle-aged single parents who head to a romance retreat and are overseen by their adult children - something that was a secret in the first series, but is now a known fact.
Aimee, 26, is a brand manager and explains she wants her mum to find someone who “prioritises” Claire and is “thoughtful and spontaneous”. She added that if they can cook, that would be a bonus as her mum isn’t the best in the kitchen. Mum Jenny and son Malachi Jenny, 51, is an operations manager from Chesire and has been single for 14 years. Jenny has given online dating a shot but says the only people she matches with are “psychopaths and sociopaths”.
Lucas, 17, works as an estate agent and believes his dad is “made for TV”. He describes him as “very outgoing” and “used to being in front of the camera”.
