Two employees of the Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority ( MWAA ) have been arrested following the leak of a video depicting the fatal midair collision between a military helicopter and a commercial jet. Mohamed Lamine Mbengue, 21, from Rockville, Maryland, was arrested on January 31st and charged with computer trespass under Virginia law. He was detained at the Arlington County Adult Detention Center before being released, as confirmed by an MWAA spokesperson.
Subsequent investigations led to the arrest of Jonathan Savoy, 45, from Upper Marlboro, Maryland, on February 2nd. Savoy was also charged with computer trespass and released on a summons by a magistrate.
