The Muntinlupa City government has started distributing its P20 million financial assistance to local government units (LGUs) devastated by typhoon “Odette” last December.

The Muntinlupa City government has started distributing its P20 million financial assistance to local government units devastated by typhoon “Odette” last December.

Officials of the city government of Bais, Negros Oriental receive the P500,000 financial assistance from the Muntinlupa City government Representatives from the Muntinlupa City government turned over the funds to the LGUs including Rose Geli, Atty. Nemei Santiago, Cynthia Viacrusis, Atty. Harley Padolina, Lorna Misa, and Randy Garcia.

Under the ordinance, P1 million each will be given to the provincial governments of Dinagat Islands and Siargao in Surigao del Norte. The remaining 36 LGU beneficiaries will get P500,000 each which were identified by the Muntinlupa city government and the Office of the Vice President .
