UK news: Mum and son, 10, found dead inside flat
The bodies of a mum and her 10-year-old son have been found in their home in Leeds. West Yorkshire Police were called to the property at Cross Ingram Road, in Holbeck by a neighbour who was concerned about the mum and son.
Leeds Live reports that the bodies of a 30-year-old woman and a 10-year-old boy were discovered. Formal identification is yet to take place. Police continue their investigation and a scene remains in place in Cross Ingram Road. Confirming the details of the incident, WYP said: "At about 9pm last night, officers were attending an address in Cross Ingram Road, Holbeck, Leeds, following concerns being raised about the welfare of the occupants."A woman and a child were found dead inside the flat. Although formal identification has not yet been completed, they are believed to be a 30-year-old woman and her 10-year-old son, who both lived at the address.
"While enquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances of their deaths, officers are not looking for anyone else in connection with the incident. A scene remains in place at the address. "
