PETALING JAYA: PPBM deputy president Mukhriz Mahathir is among two candidates who will be challenging Muhyiddin Yassin for the party’s presidency at the coming polls, its election committee chairman Syed Hamid Albar has announced.
Meanwhile, Hamid also announced that Dr Mahathir Mohamad is so far the sole candidate for the chairman’s post. Party secretary-general Marzuki Yahya and Perak Menteri Besar Ahmad Faizal Azumu will vie for the deputy president’s post.
