We're getting tired of asking questions and never getting answers
This was in keeping with the trend over recent months.
Whatever your politics, a misjudgement, lie or both from Downing Street, followed by a U-turn and then revelations of more lies has come to seem a repeated cycle over the past few months. Each time this has been greeted by silence from most MPs, with repeated requests for comment from this paper only occasionally yielding a response.
Former Health Secretary Sajid Javid, who started the wave of resignations, said that not to do something was an active decision. Not to say anything is also an active decision. MPs owe their voters explanations of where they stand on the big issues. Even something people might disagree with is better than what many might suspect - that their MP was hoping a big problem would just go away.
