A suspected motorcycle thief was killed while his live-in partner was arrested during an entrapment operation conducted by personnel of Quezon City Police District (QCPD) Galas Police Station (PS 11) in Quezon City on Thursday, April 6. ManilaBulletin
Station 11 commander Lt. Col. Richard Ian Ang said the suspect, Yukio Mcfee, 26, a resident of Barangay Kamuning, Quezon City, died after he shot it out with the police.
His live-in partner, Shane Misha Morales, 19, of Brgy. Tatalon, Quezon City, was arrested for possession of illegal drugs. According to the police report, Mcfee posed as a passenger at noon on April 5, and booked a ride with Roderick Silvio, an Angkas driver. During the ride, the suspect declared a holdup before reaching the corner of Sampaguita and Ilang-ilang Streets in Barangay Mariana, QC, and took the driver's wallet, cellular phone, and motorcycle.Police later received a report that the suspect was selling the stolen motorcycle.Mcfee agreed to meet up with the poseur buyers in Barangay Bagong Pag-asa, Quezon City.Police said Mcfee, however, suddenly drew a .38-caliber revolver and fired shots at the approaching police officers.
