A motorcyclist was killed in a crash involving two other vehicles near the Arlington Heights and Mount Prospect border, police said.
According to authorities, the crash occurred at around 6:30 p.m. near the intersection of Northwest Highway and Waterman Road, with most of the crash occurring in Arlington Heights jurisdiction.Officials said a Genesis coupe was traveling eastbound on Northwest Highway nearing Waterman Road while a Harley-Davidson motorcycle was traveling westbound on the same street, in front of a Hyundai sedan that was also traveling westbound.
The motorcyclist was discovered unresponsive by first responders and was pronounced dead at the scene following resuscitation efforts by paramedics.
